When photo scanning and place recognition finish, a footprint timeline builds itself: photos, videos, and Live Photos together, with a yearly poster you can export. One step further—turn the trips into a memoir: a chapter per city, screenshots woven in, exported as a long image you can post.
After photo scanning and place recognition complete, the app offers to build your timeline—or you can wait for it. Progress is shown in real stages; you never hand-pick photos or add places.
The timeline aggregates by city—"12 cities · 3,000+ photos"—with a reverse-chronological rail on the right, starting from your most recent departure.
Export a yearly poster that mirrors the top of the timeline and save it to Photos. Good for social feeds (one poster per year) or keeping a multi-image archive; you can also choose to hide people.
Once the timeline is ready you can generate a restrained, honest portrait sketch built only on what the photos can support—which cities, which years—labelled "inferred from photo history". The first one is free.
From the footprint timeline, generate a memoir in one tap: one chapter per city, illustrated with your originals, optionally woven with social-media screenshots as narrative material. Screenshots are read on device; only a de-identified summary is uploaded. Pick a narrative voice and a writing style (plain first-person by default).
A memoir can be copied as text, exported as a long image, or sliced into a nine-grid (the text is cut into 1–9 portrait images, with no image split across a page edge; all exports preview before saving). Yearly posters can also merge several years into one, with that year's footprint map embedded at the top.
